But wrc 9 is still good, just needs a bit more polish, maybe it could be a bit more responsive to my inputs, but it's not game breaking. Overall I'm still loving dirt rally 2.0 and I'll soon be getting a pc, so hopefully I'll be able to get it to run in VR, I'm really looking forward to it. Dirt rally has a tendency to fishtail traveling at high speed where you think you should be flatout but you have to watch yourself and catch that. I've put in a couple thousand hours into dirt rally 2.0, a couple hundred in to WRC 8 and I've only put in a few dozen hours into wrc 9 all with a Fanatec CSL Elite PS4, I love dirt rally 2.0's physics over wrc's, but wrc 9 has much better handling over wrc 8, but wrc 9 just seems to lack something dirt rally 2.0 has, kinda feels a little like input lag on wrc 9, dirt rally 2.0 is just so much more responsive, and dirt rally has an awesome H-pattern feel which can be annoying at first cause it'll miss the shift if you don't time your clutch just right, but wrc 9's H-pattern just seems lazy, it'll go into gear no matter whether you get the timing right or not or whether you use the clutch or not.ĭirt rally 2.0 has much better community events and clubs which wrc 9's community events and clubs are just not that good.ĭirt rally's tarmac physics lack what wrc 9's has, that's grip. Got quite lucky because I wasn't playing WRC8 so I don't know even a single stage and everything is fresh to me. I think I will stay with it for a long time cause it's really enjoyable and I'm loving the stages there. So played maybe around 20 hours in WRC9 and I'm actually pleasantly surprised.

DIRT RALLY 2 OR WRC 9 SERIES
As DiRT fan (playing series since CMR 2.0) I'm somehow afraid what will they do with WRC license. 2 March 2017 1 Genre (s) Racing simulation. It's easy to see in RX where with supercars you gotta go sideways all the time to make the best time - it's not working that way in real life. You have to manipulate gas pedal with care instead of just smashing it so you can hold a grip to the road (like it's in Dirt). WRC made it a lot better and it can even be seen on real life onboards. What is badly made in Dirt? Fact that I can go through the corner on full throttle while going sideways on hairpin with 4wd car and I won't lose a second. The built-in sound system of DiRT Rally 2.0 is more dynamic than.
You can hear the tire screeches, throttle sounds, and crashing voices in a more detailed way, which is accurate as well. The sound quality is better in DiRT Rally 2.0. In my opinion tarmac feels way better in new WRC title but still I'm not quite sure about gravel. However, WRC 9 also has some pretty decent graphics, but it is not up to the mark of DiRT Rally 2.0. Played more than 1000h in DiRT Rally 2.0 so far and started my adventure with KT Racing games from WRC 9 so basically I'm kinda newbie to it.
